Robert J. Hughes, DDS

A graduate of Marquette University, Dr. Hughes has maintained a private practice in Everett for more than 30 years. He has been named one of “Seattle’s Best Dentists in 2020” and is known for excellence in cosmetic and general dentistry and the beautiful smiles he creates. His greatest reward is seeing how a new smile can have a significant positive impact on a patient’s life.

Life & Hobbies

A native of Northern Idaho, Dr. Quigley attended Eastern New Mexico University, where he met his wife, Dena. He went on to earn his Doctorate of Dental Surgery at Creighton University on a scholarship from the U.S. Navy. Dr. Quigley served four years of active duty in the U.S. Navy as a Dental Officer, stationed with the Naval Mobile Construction Battalion 40 and completed his deployments overseas.

Following his naval service, Dr. Quigley and Dena settled in Waco, Texas. Dr. Quigley joined Dr. J. Gary Williams at Today’s Family Dental in 2007, and Dena attended Baylor University, where she completed her Ph.D. and currently serves as a professor. They enjoy outdoor activities, camping, traveling, and spending time with their two wonderful boys and several pets. They attend Day Spring Baptist Church and thoroughly enjoy living and working in Waco.

In his free time, Dr. Neal enjoys sports like basketball, golf, and softball. He also enjoys hiking around his native state of Washington and spending time near any body of water. Other hobbies include watching his favorite sports teams, such as the UW football and the Seattle Mariners, learning to play guitar, and practicing Spanish. That being said, more than anything else he enjoys spending time with his family.
